In this session, we will analyze the epistemological status of the idea of God as a transcendent, regulative hypothesis of speculative reason (as compared to transcendental, constitutive laws of understanding). In addition, we will discuss Kant`s criticism of the physico-theological, cosmological, and ontological proofs of the existence of God and Kant`s defense of the moral argument.Text:
